Not sure we want their long ball shit do we?

Big job at Huddersfield though. They are sinking like a stone and a good chance of dropping through another division

Known Danny and Nicky all our lives, went to play school with Danny and grew up 2 doors away from each other. My mother still goes on a couple of girls weekends to Center Parcs each year with their mum.

Great lads and really doing the business and good luck to them. They bleed football and their Dad, Steve, is a huge influence who coached our junior team growing up, Gidea Park Rangers.

Massive hammers fans and managing us would be their dream job. Hopefully they will continue their meteoric rise and get the opportunity one day.

Yes mate, we grew up in Harold Wood together. He went Emerson and i went to Coopers but always stayed mates and had the same social circle out of school.

He was pals with a bloke who was in my years brother. Cocky mouthy little shit is how I remember him, not in a bad way just full of himself and liked having a pop at us who were a couple of years older.

Yep Coopers.......and what of it!!!!!! Ha

PE teachers 4 yrs ago doing the football management part time to where they are now is brilliant and I just hope they can be at tip of the spear in regard to new, exciting, young English managers who will take on the prem in yrs to come.

Coopers?!! Hall Mead run you slags all over Upminster.

Re: Cowley brothers take over at Huddersfield Town
Burns, sounds more like Nicky as he was certainly a bit more cocky than Danny but both had a bit of cheek about them.

Re: Cowley brothers take over at Huddersfield Town
Sorry Ed but Hall Mead didn’t even register in terms of being bothered by them, Gaynes on the other hand did give us a hard time. Had loads of mates at Hall Mead and rolled around with a load of birds from Gaynes hence i suppose not getting on too well with most of the lads.

Pretty sure I went to college (Havering 6th Form) with Nicky. Bit cocky but nice enough fella.

Anyway, I was speaking to someone I know about 3 or 4 years ago who played for a few semi-pro teams.

He told me he had been managed by someone called Danny Cowley (I didn't make the link with his brother at the time) and said how he was on another level to any other coach he had ever come across (albeit at admittedly lower levels).

He said his attention to detail was mind blowing. Knew everything about everything. He assured me he was going places and I've followed his progress ever since. Really nice to see them both get this big break.

Used to work with both of them about 10 years ago.

Lovely guys

Sacked in 6 months, or meteoric rise to manage Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Either is a proper WHO contribution. They got a long way to go to match John Still.

Been at my hometown club for 3 years....unbelievable rise from non league football. 2 back to back promotions, Check a trade trophy and FA cup quarter finals... Knew they would eventually go on to better things. Gutted to have lost them but wish all the best. Nice chaps and really integrated within the community.

Should have held on at Lincoln until a decent club came calling. Not sure they'll be able to do much with 'uddersfield.

Re: Cowley brothers take over at Huddersfield Town
All lincoln's success is all down to them two also the work in the community they did was outstanding.
Use to make players clean the away dressing room on rota system to make them appreciate what they have.
Make a good job at Huddersfield and the next step is big time.

they wouldn’t last 6 months here with their style of play

Re: Cowley brothers take over at Huddersfield Town
Good luck to them as avid hammers making a difficult journey...but it sounds a bit like they make Big Sam look like an advocate of total football, so more than happy to watch their rise from afar!
